Today, Bear had a fun day with his friends in puppy class. We worked on re-enforcing his watch me, manners and the all important come command. He is now exhausted and pass out on the floor. He will not even respond when the wheelchair is moving. He makes me smile when he is tired and looks at me like Do we have too? But no matter what, he does get up and comes along with me.
Puppy Class
- Dogs just know what to do sometimes, thank you to Bear for laying with me on Nov. 20. I took a diabetic low of 1.9 and went unconscious for 15 minutes. When help arrived I was told that Bear was laying on me. Good job Bear. He was so relaxed when seven fireman and two paramedics stayed with me until I was stable.
- Bear is Five months old. During this time a puppy is going to test you, (he is a teenager). Problems are coming up but we are working with the trainer to make sure we correct them the right way. Caroline (his local trainer) is happy with the correction we are doing but these will have to be consistent. We already dealt with a few correction but this is not the final correction. Each one needs to be practiced, practiced and when you are too tired do it again.
